Broward County Library Summer Learning Program

Broward County Library’s annual Summer Learning Program, from June 1 to August 13, is a series of free, fun, online programs for all ages designed to teach, entertain and inspire creativity. This year’s theme is “Oceans of Possibilities,” with programs focusing ocean professions, ocean life, pirates, and all things oceans. There is something for everyone with book discussions, book-related trivia and craft programs, puppet shows, musical performances, theatrical productions, oceanography, sea life, ocean preservation, and more.

Reading over the summer helps prevent learning loss in children and teens and builds skills that maintain or improve academic proficiency scores. Readers of all ages can preregister for challenges to win great prizes from Bluefoot Pirate Adventures, Miami Children’s Museum, Everglades Holiday Park, Butterfly World, Miami Seaquarium, Museum of Discovery and Science, Florida Panthers, Water Taxi, Zoo Miami, and more.

Start now by registering for the Summer Challenge (via Beanstack) at Broward.org/Library/Summer!
